1944
MMCI Automation's Parent Company (Wiese USA Was Founded)
Harold Wiese becomes one of the nation's first dealers for Towmotor®, a revolutionary new product that was sure to change the world of material handling forever.
He battled through war rationing, limited metal availability and more to create a legacy of service driven by innovation and the value of long-term relationships that has lasted for generations.
1983
MMCI Was Founded
After serving as a customer service center for Rapistan conveyors for 16 years, MMCI Automation became an independent company specializing in the integration of conveyor technology.
Shortly after opening, MMCI Automation was named an exclusive representative for Columbia Machines and its line of automatic palletizing machinery.
2010
Wiese Acquires MMCI Automation
Wiese acquires MMCI Automation with the goal of offering its material handling customers greater access to automated material handling solutions. Wiese's culture of treating employees and customers as they would want to be treated was a perfect match for MMCI.
2010
Jungheinrich Expands to North America
The same year, Jungheinrich expands to North America making its line of electric counterbalanced, narrow-aisle and walkie products available to Wiese. Jungheinrich eventually becomes MMCI's preferred supplier of automated guided vehicles.
2013
MMCI Acquires Automation Controls
To bolster its ability to integrate its growing line of automation technologies, MMCI Automation acquires a team of experts experienced in controls.
The acquisition allows MMCI to further expand its automation business, taking on more and more complex projects and expanding the lines of equipment it can integrate.
2015
MMCI Acquires DCX Software
With the acquisition of DCX Software, MMCI Automation significantly enhance its capabilities to serve the growing warehouse automation market.

MMCI Robotics is Created
To capitalize on its industry leading experience in automated palletizing, MMCI Automation creates MMCI Robotics and opens its Technology Center in St. Louis, MO.

MMCI introduces Pattern PRO HMI, greatly simplifying robotic palletizing.
2021
MMCI introduces new Quick-Ship Palletizers (QSP).
2022
MMCI introduces IcePal palletizer designed to meet the unique demands of the ice packaging industry.

MMCI introduces its newest collaborative robot utilizing Fanuc’s CRX Robot.
2023
MMCI becomes a UL approved panel builder for automated solutions.

MMCI introduces a unique RaaS (Robot as a Service) solution – combining a low-cost lease and a “pay by the pallet” usage model that pairs perfectly with seasonal demand applications.
